Xocket Data Labs is the expert operations arm of Xocket, an AI-native product engineering studio.
Where this came from
The model was fine. Nobody had written down the method.
Xocket builds AI products for other companies. Doing that repeatedly, the same wall kept appearing: the model was fine, the retrieval was fine, and the thing holding the product back was that nobody had written down how a competent professional actually does the task. Not the answer. The method.
So we started sourcing the professionals and paying them to write it down. That turned into a separate line of work with its own bench, its own quality machinery and its own clients, which is what this is.
Why engineering matters
Environments are software builds.
Most expert-data vendors are operations businesses that buy tooling. We are an engineering studio that happens to run operations, and it shows up in the place that is hardest to fake: agent environments. A working surface with seeded state and a real verifier is a software build, and we were doing software builds first.
It also means your spec meets engineers. When your schema is awkward you will get a question about the schema, rather than six weeks of data shaped around the awkwardness.
How we are structured
A small core, a practising bench.
A small core team runs scoping, squad leadership and quality. The bench is practising professionals on project contracts, not employees, because the moment they stop practising they stop being useful to you. Engineering, where a project needs it, comes from Xocket.
We are based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and the bench is remote worldwide.
What we are not
Not a crowd, not a research lab.
Not a crowd platform. There is no marketplace, no bidding and no anonymous worker pool: you get named people, and you can reject any of them.
Not a research lab. We do not publish papers and we do not have an opinion on your training recipe. Our job is that the human side of it is correct, traceable, and arrives on the day we said.
